And they shall be, these Centers of light, like sensible hearths charged with releasing the intelligible Light upon the earth: and this had been done thus. 16. He had determined, He, the Being of beings, the potential existence of this Dyad of great luminous hearths; destining the greater to the representation of day, and the lesser to that of night; and He had also determined the existence of the virtual faculties of the Universe, the stars. 17. Setting them in the etheric expansion of the heavens, these sensible hearths, to release the intelligible Light upon the earth. 18. To represent within the day and within the night, and to effect the movement of separation between light and darkness: and considering these things, He, the Being of beings, had seen that they would be good. 19. And such had been the west, and such had been the east, the end and the means, the term and the departure, of the fourth phenomenal manifestation.
