He had said further, HIM-the-Gods: the inferior and gravitating waves of the heavens shall tend irresistibly together toward a determined, unique place; and Aridity shall appear: and this had been done thus. 10. And He had designated the aridity by the name of Earth, terminating and final element, and the place toward which the waters were to tend, He had called Seas, aqueous immensity: and considering these things, He, the Being of beings, had seen that they would be good. 11. And they shall be, these Centers of light, like sensible hearths charged with making intelligible Light burst forth upon the earth: and this had been done thus. 16. He had determined, He, the Being of beings, the potential existence of this Dyad of great luminous hearths; destining the greater to the representation of day, and the smaller to that of night; and He had also determined the existence of the virtual faculties of the Universe, the stars.

To represent in the day and in the night, and to effect the movement of separation between light and darkness: and considering these things, He, the Being of beings, had seen that they would be good. 19. And such had been the west, and such had been the east, the end and the means, the term and the departure, of the fourth phenomenal manifestation. 20. Next, He had said, HIM-the-Gods: the Waters shall bring forth abundantly the vermiform and volatile principles of a soul of Life, moving upon the earth, and fluttering in the ethereal expansion of the heavens. 21. And He, the Being of beings, had created the potential existence of these corporeal immensities, legions of sea monsters, and that of every soul of Life, animated with a reptiform movement, of which the waters brought forth abundantly the principles, according to their kind, and that of every bird with a strong and swift wing, according to its kind: and considering these things, HIM-the-Gods, He had seen that they would be good. 22. He had blessed these beings, and had declared His will to them, saying: propagate and multiply, and fill the waters of the seas; that the volatile species may multiply upon the earth. 23. And such had been the west, and such had been the east, the end and the means, the term and the departure, of the fifth phenomenal manifestation.. 24. And HIM-the-Gods had said further: the Earth shall bring forth from its bosom a breath of life according to its kind, animated with a progressive movement, quadruped and reptile, terrestrial Animality, according to its kind: and this had been done thus. 23. He had thus determined, He, the Being of beings, the potential existence of this terrestrial Animality, according to its kind, and that of the quadruped Genus, according to its kind; and considering these things, He had judged that they would be good. 26. Continuing then to declare His will, He had said, HIM-the-Gods: we shall make Adam, the universal Man, in our reflected shadow, following the laws of our assimilating action; so that, collective power, he may hold universal empire, and dominate at once, both in the fish of the seas, and in the bird of the heavens, and in the quadruped, and in all animality, and in all reptiform life moving upon the earth. 27. And He, the Being of beings, had created the potential existence of Adam, the universal Man, in his reflected shadow; in his shadow

He had blessed their collective existence, and had declared to them collectively His will, saying: propagate and multiply; fill the Earth and subdue it; hold universal empire and dominate in the fish of the seas, and in the bird of the heavens, and in everything enjoying vital movement upon the Earth. 29. And He had likewise declared, HIM-the-Gods, behold: I have given you, without exception, every herb germinating from an innate seed, upon the face of the whole Earth, as well as every substance bearing its own fruit, and possessing in itself its seminal power, to serve you as food. 30. And to every terrestrial animality, to every species of the volatile, of reptiform being moving upon the earth, and possessing in itself the innate principle of an animated breath of life, I have given in totality the verdant herb for food. And this had been done thus. 31. Then considering all these things which He had made in potency, as present before Him, He had seen, HIM-the-Gods, that they would be good according to their measure. And such had been the west, and such had been the east, the end and the means, the term and the departure, of the sixth phenomenal manifestation.
