89. O! dear christians, rid yourselves of your disputes on the subject of the body of Jesus-Christ. It is everywhere in all places, but in the heaven, and the heaven where God dwells interiorly, is also everywhere. God dwells in the body of Jesus-Christ, as well as all the holy souls of men, when they separate themselves from this terrestrial body. When they are regenerated, they remain in the word, in the body of Jesus-Christ although still in this terrestrial body. A soul HERE, in our body upon the earth, has not the body of the Christ in seizable substance, but indeed in the word of the power which embraces all. The body and the power, in the Christ, make indeed but one; but, in this world, we cannot comprehend the superior creature. . 90. Now, the spirit announces that, if you abstain not

from these disputes, you shall obtain however no other sign than the sign of Elias in the zeal of the fire; for the zeal shall devour you, and your disputes themselves shall devour you. You must consume yourselves. See you not that you are fools? are you not brothers, and all in Christ? Why dispute upon your country, in which you dwell, if you walk in the love.

91. Abstain from it then. Your cause is bad before God, and shall be found all in Babel. Hold yourselves for warned; the day appears. How long will you associate yourselves with the adultery of prostitution? Rise up, your noble virgin sophia is adorned in her fair crown of pearls. She bears a lily which is agreeable: act, fraternally, she will adorn you also; we have seen her really, and it is in her name that we write this.

9a. There needs no dispute upon the cup of Jesus-Christ. His body, in the testament, is truly received of the believer, as well as his celestial blood; and the baptism is a bath in the water of the eternal life, although hidden exteriorly in the word of the body of the Christ. It is why there is no need to dispute here; it suffices to have the fraternal love, to remove oneself from the proud covetousness, then you are all in Christ.

93. These profound and difficult questions serve you nothing; you have no need to stop at them: we lay them down only, that you

may see what the principle is, and what error is; for it is not to us that these writings must be attributed. But you, in your exasperated ardours, you have excited the spirit, in such a manner as to make manifest to you the thoughts of your heart. Make

only that the resurrection of the Christ be an efficacious thing for you: for the resurrection of the Christ is ours 5 and, in him, we must grow, rise again, and live eternally. Attach yourselves without reserve to the Christ, then you shall succumb under no distress; for if you have the Christ, then you have the holy trinity of God.

94- If thou wilt pray to God, then ask of thy celestial father in the name of his son Jesus-Christ, to be enlightened with his holy spirit, in order that he may deign to pardon thee thy sins, in favour of his sufferings and of his death, and give thee what is good and salutary for thee. Submit all that is terrestrial to his light and to his will: for we know not what we ask and what we desire; but the ho- .n. ly spirit represents us himself before his father, in Jesus-Christ, by ineffable sighs. It is why there needs no long words, but only a penitent and believing soul which, in its will, delivers itself with an entire ardour to the divine mercy; such a soul lives in Jesus-Christ, and is in a firm assurance before the demon, provided however that it remain constant.
