2Noah passed the first century with his second posterity, and instructed it for 130 years by his temporal and spiritual cares. He raised the seven male children of this posterity conformably to the law of the Creator. He devoted the four firstborn of the true thinking ones to the Divinity alone. These four sages gave themselves only to the divine worship, without having any participation in the terrestrial worship. The three others had two forms of worship to operate: the one temporal terrestrial, and the other spiritual simple; that is to say they did not participate in the operation of the great divine worship which was reserved to their four elder brothers. Indeed, the firstborn of this posterity made the type of the high priests and great sacrificers to come: he was the first of the men of that time who recalled the first sacrifice of Adam made by Cain, his firstborn, upon his brother Abel. The firstborn of Noah was, in his quality of spiritual interpreter, the first chief of every kind of divine operation; he first put his hand to the censer and made the offering of the holocaust to the Creator. It was he again who alone made, in a low voice, the great invocation for the descent of the spirit in consummation of the holocaust of expiation and of reconciliation. He was alone at the altar of sacrifice, and his three brothers found themselves immediately after him, in a straight line, as principal assistants at the great operation of the divine
3worship. Which was repeated by Moses, assisted in his operations by Aaron, Ur and Bezaleel. Aaron repeated the same thing in taking his children to assist at his labour. The same order was followed in the service of the temple of Solomon, and the Church of Christ represents it to us still today in the sacrifice it offers upon the altar of purification, by the hand, the intention and the word of the celebrant, assisted by the first, the second and the third deacons. You must see thereby that all things of this nature have truly come down through the succession of times to us; and that these sorts of divine spiritual operations come not from the imagination of men, but most certainly from the eternal Creator.
