Tu concevras surtout quelle est à son égard l'infériorité des esprits majeurs et inférieurs dont je viens te parler, en observant comment s'opère leur puissance d'action.
2Ces deux classes d'esprits sont préposées particulièrement à la conservation du temps et à celle de la matière; c’est ce qui fait qu'ils ne peuvent opérer qu'en latitude universelle. Le mineur, au contraire, n'étant nullement destiné à la conservation, ni à l'entretien de l'univers, commandait même à ces deux sortes d'esprits, et sa puissance s'étendait dans l'immensité de la longitude. C'est pourquoi ces deux cercles majeurs et inférieurs sont extralignés de la perpendiculaire, qui n'appartient qu'au cercle mineur de l’homme-Dieu. Maïs pour achever de te convaincre de l’infériorité de ces deux cercles, combien elle est marquée par leurs nombres septénaire et ternaire, ils ne peuvent compléter chacun en particulier le nombre parfait dénaire du Créateur. Il faut pour cela les réunir en cette sorte: 7+3=0. Le mineur, au contraire, annonce, par son nombre quaternaire,
3combien sa puissance est inférieure: en effet le mineur, étant émané de la quatriple essence, portait nécessairement le nombre de son émanation qui le distinguait de toutes les émanations spirituelles faites avant lui et le mettait au-dessous de tout être spirituel émané. Il était l'être le plus pur, le plus parfait, sans parler toutefois de l’action de l'Éternel qui est le Christ, ni de Son opération qui est l'Esprit Saint; ils ne sont compris ni l’un ni l’autre dans aucune espèce d'émanation, ni d'émancipation. Leurs actions et leurs opérations ont été et seront toujours purement spirituelles, divines, sans aucun assujettissement au temps ni au temporel.

And so thou seest that this minor circle forms the salient angle of the lower supercelestial triangle; thou seest, moreover, that the two others, that of the majors 2 and that of the inferiors 3, face only themselves, in order to communicate directly the orders they receive and shall receive from the Creator until the end of times touching their spiritual temporal actions. This therefore proves to thee not only the superiority of man over all the minors inhabiting the terrestrial body and the planetary bodies, but further over all the classes of spirits. Thou shalt conceive above all what is, with regard to him, the inferiority of the major and inferior spirits of whom I have just spoken to thee, in observing how their power of action is operated.
2These two classes of spirits are appointed particularly to the conservation of time and to that of matter; this is what makes it so that they can operate only in universal latitude. The minor, on the contrary, being in no wise destined to the conservation nor to the maintenance of the universe, commanded even these two sorts of spirits, and his power extended into the immensity of longitude. This is why these two circles, major and inferior, are drawn off the line of the perpendicular, which belongs only to the minor circle of the man-God. But to finish convincing thee of the inferiority of these two circles, how greatly it is marked by their septenary and ternary numbers: they cannot complete, each in particular, the perfect denary number of the Creator. It is needful for that to reunite them in this sort: 7 + 3 = 0. The minor, on the contrary, announces by his quaternary number
3how far his power is inferior: indeed the minor, being emanated from the fourfold essence, bore necessarily the number of his emanation, which distinguished him from all the spiritual emanations made before him and set him below every emanated spiritual being. He was the purest, the most perfect being, without speaking however of the action of the Eternal which is Christ, nor of His operation which is the Holy Spirit; they are comprehended neither the one nor the other in any species of emanation nor of emancipation. Their actions and their operations have been and shall always be purely spiritual, divine, without any subjection to time nor to the temporal.
