1construction of the evolved man (with his feet in heaven) by the mystical use of the sexual force.
2I think it needless to insist on the perfect identity of this allegorical way of teaching the "Kundalini-Yoga" of the Kabbalah with the teachings of the East.
3Many other examples could be brought forward; for the two traditions are not "alike or equal" — they are ONE ALONE, presented in distinct languages, symbols and epochs.
4Nothing more.
5If we look panoramically at that identity of theory and practice, we shall see the following: 1st) Both ways initially grant the Disciple a brief and systematic theology, representative of the attributes of the Divinity — trinitarian as primordial manifestation and unitary in essence.
62nd) Both ways present the Disciple a systematisation of the sensible World, or "Nature", and the correspondence between its forces and those in permanent action within the human being himself, as well as the "bond" that links the ones to the others.
73rd) Both ways present the Disciple ONE SINGLE END: Union with the Divine Will, by way of several partial "roads", all fused in the Great Path (the Mahayana of the East, and the direct Way of Illumination of the Hermetists and Kabbalists).
84th) Both ways give as result — and this is surely the essential — the same type of realisers: wise saints and synthetists; that is, a few rare exemplars who, in each epoch, manage to manifest an equilibrium between "knowing" and "feeling" up to a height "x" which it is of no interest to determine, since it is always the maximum that individual can attain "this time".
9There are people who believe an Eastern Initiate is fatally a dreamer cultivating, in the laziness of retreat, a useless meditation.
10There are those convinced that every Western Initiate is a severe and surly savant.
11The truth is, finally, quite other: Pandit of the East or Intellectual Master of the West, both bow reverent before the marvels of the Living Truth and Harmony in Eternal Action, which they Understand and attempt to translate for minds less apt to function simultaneously in the small and the eternal, in the minutely infinitesimal and the universal.
12Sannyasin of the East or Mystic of the West — the same devotion, the same renunciation of the personal, of the fruit of action; the same surrender to the Eternal Providence or the Divine Mother fills their hearts with Love for all Beings, the mystical way of loving God in his Creatures.
13Gurus and Acharyas of the East, and real Masters of the West — all of Them walk through this World with the mind fixed on the Eternal and Sublime Truth, with the Light of Divine Love in the Heart, and with the Active Word on their lips: to instruct, to console, to guide, to stimulate, to protect, to unite beings among themselves and all with the Supreme.
