123 to draw the characteristic vibration away from its normality (or state of harmony or of health) produces a vibratory disharmony or state of illness. In the state of health there is, then, a harmonic play of vibrations, and in the state of illness a disharmonic play of vibrations, that is, the predominance of some and the diminution or lack of others.
2If the vibratory disharmony is transitory and weak we get discomforts of every kind; if it is transitory and intense we get acute illness, and if it is relatively permanent we get chronic illness with a more or less intense symptomatology, according to the more or less profound permanent vibratory disturbance.
3We have already said that to each vibration corresponds a determinate colour and, consequently, the reciprocal play of those vibrations manifests itself as a reciprocal play of colours which, in the aura, shows itself as an incessant kaleidoscopic surge.
4We have also said that the mental, vital and physical vibrations manifest themselves with their corresponding colours, which we find in the aura perennially modifying itself through their reciprocal influences.
5The observation of that marvellous spectacle of the aura by clairvoyant eyes permits, then, those who know how to interpret those constant modifications of colours to establish: a) — Whether there is harmony of vibrations, or health. b) — Whether there is disharmony of vibrations, or illness. c) — Whether the disharmony is mental, astral or physical. d) — Whether the disharmony is transitory (mental, emotional, sensorial state) or permanent (acute or chronic pathological state, mental, vital, physical.) The disharmonising causes, transitory or permanent, can be of mental, astral or physical origin (thoughts, feelings, sensations) and can act upon parts or upon the totality of the being.
6Whether in one case or the other, the repercussion of the action is upon the integral being, and that is why thoughts act upon the emotivity and the sensoriality, feelings upon the mentality, and sensoriality upon the emotivity and the mentality.
7From all that has been set forth it results that one can cure — that is, make the modified characteristic vibration of the being return to its normal state or state of health [Sic: the Spanish prints “1a modificada”, with a numeral] — either by eliminating the excess of pathogenic vibrations or by supplying the vibrations that are lacking or weak.
