4What are the chemical qualities of the elements, and the role they play in our organism?
5It must be remembered that the human body is composed of a quantity of substances entering into the constitution of the cellular protoplasm, which may be classified into INORGANIC SUBSTANCES (water, mineral salts and some gases) and ORGANIC SUBSTANCES (carbohydrates, fats, protein substances, besides ferments and vitamins).
6All these substances are composed of 22 elements: 12 principal and 10 secondary.
7The principal ones are: CARBON,
8SULPHUR, NITROGEN, HYDROGEN, OXYGEN, PHOSPHORUS, CHLORINE, POTASSIUM, SODIUM, MAGNESIUM, CALCIUM, IRON.
9The secondary ones are SILICON,
10FLUORINE, BROMINE, IODINE, ALUMINIUM, MANGANESE, LITHIUM, COPPER, LEAD and ZINC.
11Carbon — It is the principal element of the organism, in which it is found in a proportion of almost 50 %.
12It enters into the constitution of the greater part of the organic substances and of many inorganic ones.
13We introduce it daily in a quantity of almost 280 grammes, and eliminate it in great part through respiration, in the form of carbonic acid.
14It is found in almost all foods of vegetable and animal origin.
15Sulphur — It enters into the constitution of the protein substances and their derivatives; it is found combined in the salts in the form of alkaline sulphates (which exist in the blood and in the greater part of the tissues and liquids, with the exception of the bile and gastric juice), alkaline hyposulphites, sulphocyanide of K and of Na (saliva, blood, etc.), sulphide of iron, etc. It is found, moreover, in the intestine, combined with H in the state of H2S.
16It is indispensable for the formation of the tendons and cartilages; it plays an important role in the cure of rheumatism and diseases of the skin; it facilitates the elimination of toxic substances, tones the nerves and makes the hair grow.
17The sulphur we have to assimilate must proceed from raw and not from cooked foods, for that which comes from the latter provokes intestinal disturbances with the production of gases.
18Avoid, consequently, hard-boiled eggs and boiled cabbage.
19Assimilable sulphur abounds in green beans, carrots, plums, fresh and dried figs, egg yolks (raw), raw onions, radishes and wholemeal bread, boiled turnips, boiled cauliflower and broccoli.
20Nitrogen — It enters into the constitution of the protein substances and of the nitrogenous products deriving from them.
21It is found in the free state in the respiratory passages and digestive tube, coming almost entirely from the atmospheric air breathed or swallowed.

The four conclusions cap the arc: every disturbance a deficiency, every emotion "a cry of alarm… asking for calcium, fluorine, magnesium", trust the "undegenerate instinct" — reviewed under the boundary and kept: dietetic doctrine, no claim about peoples.
The Maha Boddhi Sangha goes visible: "its visible activity in the present year" announced — Thursday Buddhism courses at the GIDEE seat join the Sunday cordillera broadcasts, and the right-speech abstentions (lying, gossip, harsh words, idle talk) are printed as practice.
The promised glossary begins: Pali terms first (the eightfold path entries, Bikku, Kamma, Nibbana), with the reader told to keep a notebook alphabetically — the review teaching its audience to build its own reference apparatus.

Editorial glosses mark the splice at both ends; the text is preserved exactly as the retype transmits it.
