## The Saturn-Neptune Square
At a slow pace, humanity is coming to understand that Astrology is not mere superstition condemned by religion and fought by official science, but rather the science that studies and explains the bond between collective and individual beings and between them and cosmic vibration; that it is the key to the great Divine Law manifested in the Universe and, consequently, knowledge of said law cannot cause any harm to religious conception and could also provide great clarifications to academic science.
It would be desirable, yes, that astrology not be distorted as a simple means of "divination" and that it could serve more for knowledge of ourselves and of the epoch in which we live, thus awakening individual and collective consciousness, explaining to us where and when we vibrate harmoniously or when we find ourselves in an imperfect state to capture determined cosmic vibrations.
## World War Predictions
However, questions related to possible previsions about world events always arise and, in response, I must say that **we will have harmonious vibrations that seem to provide a state of peace, between September and October 1945.** I have always said that while the square aspect between Saturn and Neptune subsisted, the conflict would hardly end. I make this prevision taking into account the observation of the 1914-18 war. Between 1917 and 1918, that square acted causing the battle of Verdun, the United States' entry into the overseas battle, famine in Germany and Russia, the use of gases, Kerensky's revolution, Spanish influenza, floods and cold waves that joined with hunger and lack of coal and all the tears shed as consequence of human sufferings.
**Currently, the aspect repeats, between the signs of Cancer and Libra, without directly reaching Brazil, which is ruled by Virgo.** The influence begins in June 1944, being strongest from June 25 to July 7 and in January 1945, ceasing to work in April of next year.
### Hitler's Astrological Fate
Currently, the square occurs at a degree that does not yet greatly afflict Hitler's horoscope, for which we can foresee European events, since **he was born with the destiny of dragging the old continent toward decadence.** Undoubtedly, there will be still greater resistance, but **in January 1945 the square will gravely afflict the Moon of his horoscope and, as in such case the Moon represents the people, one can foresee that the conflict would be closer to its end.**

## The Nature of Planetary Influences
Saturn is the planet that causes, when found in good aspects, experience, wisdom and concentration; Neptune represents the vibration of Universal Love. **The bad angle or aspect between them produces, then, exactly the contrary: enormous sufferings resulting from the lack of knowing how to live and realize according to the Christian law and Universal Love.** That is what happens in collectivities.
And, to fight against this vibration, astrologically called "malefic," one must know its causes and its effects.
**The "bad aspects" are not, effectively, an evil that has its seat and origin in the planets, arriving to threaten or wound us, but rather we are the ones who are out of tune to receive benefic vibrations,** which then produces chaos, shock and pain, in individual or collective life.
### Neptune's Spiritual Influence
Neptune is the planet that rules the psychic plane and that connects us with the superior worlds or spheres, and its effect is, therefore, that of inclining toward mysticism, awakening religiosity, devotion and charity. **When found in bad aspect with Saturn, it brings doubt, insecurity and calumny, lack of charity, of forgiveness and also depression and sadness,** as consequence of physical or moral intoxications, as well as the worst of all evils: **fear.**
In turn, **Saturn, in bad aspect, provokes the evils resulting from errors of the past** and, finding itself now in the sign of Cancer, easily reaches the life of homes and, in the physical part, provokes diseases of the stomach and liver.
## Practical Counsel During This Epoch
It would be convenient to take these counsels into account during such epoch:
**Do not doubt yourself or others and, when acting, never let yourself be carried away by gossip, calumnies or "they say that"; analyze, but do not doubt; concentrate attention on what should be done, since special possibility of making mistakes arises.**
**Those who, by chance, might feel physical indispositions, should observe that the cause probably resides in alimentary intoxications and their consequences: stomach, liver and kidney troubles, and one should care for the resulting sensitivity of the respiratory apparatus.**
**If one should find themselves involved in chaotic situations, or wounded by calumnies, do not aggravate the situation with inconvenient attitudes and try to forgive, clarify and normalize gently.**
**Any enterprise should be based on firm foundations and clear vision.**
### Specific Dates and Individuals Affected
**Especially reached by the cited vibration are persons born from October 1900 to 1903; from March 1908 to February 1909; in 1914 and 1916, especially in the months of August to September 1914, May to June 1915, September to October 1921, from April to July 15, 1922, as well as all those who have anniversaries between the days: 20 to 28 of March, 21 to 29 of June, 23 to 30 of September and 22 to 29 of December.**
But it is necessary to note that **not only unfavorable influences exist. There are other very good ones that permit observing that a better future is being constructed on the Continent.**

### Importance of SHIN in the Sacred Word
We have seen previously some aspects of the much contained in the words: Iod-Hé-Vau-Hé, or writing them in Latin letters: IEVE or IHVH or IHOH.
**It fell to the great Martinist Illuminated Louis-Claude de Saint Martin to introduce into Martinist mystical teaching the revelation of one of the secrets of the Sanctuary** that, before him, had been indicated silently, in one of his marvelous Kabbalistic figures by **HEINRICH KUNRATH, the Rosicrucian Emperor, in his work [translate:"Amphitheatrum Sapientiae Aeternae"] "Amphitheater of Eternal Wisdom."**

**The sign of Cancer signifies attachment to life.** The crab, to advance, is obliged to march backward, which shows the apparent movement of the Sun, when it is in this sign, in which it begins to direct itself backward, that is, again toward the Equator. This sign also represents the fecundating and vivifying essence of vital forces, for which reason we see it occupying notable placement on the chest of the statue of Isis, the universal mother and sustainer of all things.
### Kabbalistic Significance
**Kabbalistically, the sign of Cancer represents the vital organs of the Great Man of the Starry Heavens and therefore represents the functions of respiration and human digestion** and also indicates the magnetic empire of said constellation over spiritual, celestial and vital essences, as well as the special faculty that persons dominated by this sign possess, to receive and assimilate inspirational currents. **For this reason also Cancer governs the powers of inspiration and expiration of the Great Man.**

Among plants, this sign rules: cucumber, gourd, melon and all vegetables like reed, water lily, lotus, etc. Among stones it governs lime, selenite and all very soft white stones.

## THE DECANATES OF CANCER ON THE ASCENDANT
**(according to Julevno)**
**Cancer, or the Crab, in general, gives medium stature, round to oval face, of regular contours and pale aspect, brown or dark hair, grayish or bluish eyes.** The teeth are bad and the upper part of the body longer than the lower, there being lack of proportion. The forehead is broad, the chest also, the waist is full and the walk slow, like swaying. Generally, hands and feet are relatively small. **The character is changeable, ambitious, affective, likes worldly life, predisposed to contradiction, feminine and prudent, very imaginative. Cancer governs the chest, lungs and stomach.** Regarding character, **Brother Jehel has observed that Cancer confers enormous susceptibility, as well as a true fear of physical pain.**
### The Three Decanates
**The first decanate of Cancer (first 10 degrees), is governed by Venus,** confers an amiable, generous, sociable nature, friend of pleasures and fame, with good social situation, success in arts and protection of influential women.
**The second decanate (degrees 11 to 20), is governed by Mercury** and makes the person very intelligent, skillful writer, who speaks with facility and eloquence, who can enrich themselves through the pen, but create enemies through their exaggerated frankness.
**The third decanate (degrees 21 to 30), is ruled by the Moon;** makes one fond of adventures of romantic life, of travels and mysticism. Concedes certain popularity—good or bad—according to the Moon's position at birth, numerous travels by water, many changes in life, favors from women and some goods or real estate.
## THE "FACES" OF CANCER (divisions of 5 degrees)
**If we consider the "FACES" of CANCER**, we will see that, according to classical opinions collected by **Dr. Salmón**, they signify:
### FACE 1st (0° to 5°):
**Medium stature, broad, full and fleshy forms, face between round and oval, brown eyes and the person's overall aspect is sympathetic.** This division has influence of Mercury and Venus, announcing danger of imprisonment. The 4th degree gives smaller and thinner stature.

## THE FACES OF CANCER ON THE MEDIUM COELI
**First face:** Elevates to positions of trust and confers esteem of the powerful. If the Sun or Jupiter are found there, more fame and honors, and the Moon or Venus give friendship of influential women.
**Second face:** Difficult success or of short duration, except if Jupiter were there well aspected with Sun or with the Lord of the Ascendant, in which cases there would be probability of elevation in religious or judicial functions.
**Third face:** Religious profession, and, with Jupiter's presence, Sun or Moon: ecclesiastical dignity. If the Moon joins Jupiter: cardinal or archbishop or initiatic dignities.
**Fourth face:** Indicates vulgar or obscure profession, sometimes vile or despicable.
**Fifth face:** Usually elevates to high military grades and to honors. If the Sun influences this zodiacal point, indicates important function to government chiefs, but, due to the nature of this face of Cancer, there will always be danger of fall or loss of favor and situation.
**Sixth face:** Extremely favorable, indicates wise doctors or skillful surgeons. The presence of Sun or Moon indicates success and fame; that of Jupiter gives favors from the powerful and that of Venus the protection of women, but that of Saturn indicates ruin and collapse of position.

### MAHA SAKTI ASANA
**This asana whose meaning is "Great Energetic Posture," is practiced as follows:**
1) **Standing, with the body well erect, with arms naturally extended to the sides of the body, with heels together and with the tips of the feet somewhat outward.**
2) **Throw the head backward and, at the same time as one inspires deeply and slowly, raise the arms as much as possible and with palms forward.**
3) **While retaining the breath, effect a bending movement of the trunk, taking care not to bend the knee joints, until touching with the extremities of the fingers the tips of the toes or the ground, exactly as Figure No. 22 indicates.**
4) **Return slowly to the anterior position.**

### Generalities (Continuation)
**The Upasaya, or object of meditation, for members of Suddha Dharma Mandalam, consists in the Omnipotent and Omnipresent Brahman, the Absolute, through whose Divine Grace the Universe exists.** Also included is the Hierarchy, which exists for the appropriate government of the world. **The "UPASAKAS" are the aspirants who are divided into four grades: Dasas, Thirtas, Brahmas and Anandas.** Each group has its own rules of conduct and meditation systems that have been established in various texts, some of which are published and others are in press.
**The Upasana consists in the perfect observance of the rules by each aspirant, while the Upasana Sadhana, or aids for aspiration, is constituted by the study of the various books of the order.**

He is also taught certain Bijaksharas (mystical syllables).** With constant practice of meditation and appropriate intonation of the mystical syllables that have been taught to him, **the aspirant's organism comes to become rhythmic, and he himself, by the realization of the Divine Spark within himself, is capable of responding to the Great Law that governs the entire Universe.**
### The Great Masters of Initiation
**The initiations are always directed by the three great Dikshacharyas, or Masters of Initiation, known as: Bhagavan Náráyana, Kumara and Dakshinamurti, who represent respectively the three aspects of Maha Vishnu, Maha Brahma and Maha Shiva of the Hindu Trinity.**
**Simultaneously with the initiation of a member in Mandalam, by the official who has been given powers for that patronage in the external world, an initiation of the disciple is executed on the superior planes of existence, by one or another of the Great Masters of Initiation, and this initiation imparted by the Great Beings, constitutes the principal initiation of the disciple.**
## The Electrical Analogy
**Once an initiation is conferred, the ulterior progress of the aspirant is assured, who can now advance by himself, requiring as the only condition the due observance of the rules of disciplines.**
**Although not properly analogous case, however this could be better understood taking as illustration what happens in an electrical installation that has been provided with wires and their circuits properly arranged; a simple connection with the main source of energy suffices to flood the entire place with light. On the other hand, if there is a failure in the wires or an interruption of the circuit, any amount or time of connection with the main source is useless.** In a similar manner, **the aspirant's system must be harmonized in such manner, that when a spark of Divine wisdom or knowledge is introduced into him, at the time of his initiation, it must illuminate his entire being.**
## The Universal Teaching
**A perfect study of the reading and philosophy of Suddha Dharma Mandalam will facilitate the comprehension that the vital principle of all religions is but one and the same.** As a result of such study, each member will come to acquire the conviction that **the presence of Divinity in each one of us impedes continuing with the differences of race, communion and sect that now prevail, as based on the mere facts of individual birth and nationality;** according to this ideal each member must strive to foment brotherhood and union among men regarding spiritual aspiration and its realization.
**Each member, without contenting himself solely with knowledge of Suddha Dharma, which encloses at the same time the total sum of influences that lead to the welfare of the world, must also endeavor wholeheartedly to put its liberal principles into practice;** which is only possible with persistent service to humanity, sustained by the overwhelming force of conviction in Suddha Dharma. **As a beginning, each member must, besides purifying himself of every physical and moral stain, work hard to be a source of influence for good in his own neighborhood;** his design must be to diffuse knowledge of Suddha Dharma among his fellows, as much as is in his power, in manner that enables them to follow him with reasoned conviction.
## Recommended Study Materials
**For members to be able to know the methods and sacraments in use in Suddha Dharma Mandalam, they are advised to study well the Yoga Dipika and the Sanathana Dharma Dipika. To know the philosophy of Suddha Dharma they must study the Bhagavat Gita and the Upadghata with the Bhashya (that is the introduction with Commentary), by Hamsa Yogi.**
## The Natural Development System
**In the system imposed by this school, there is no field for forced developments, which are always disastrous.**
**The development is spontaneous, and hence the system taught is the legitimate form of Raja-Yoga.**
In the ordinary sense of the word and according to astrologers' interpretation, **Raja-Yoga means a state of abundance, of power "like that of a king."** What, in substance, results equal to the signification given to the term by Suddha Dharma Mandalam. **Because the object of this school's discipline is that the Atma, fragment of Brahman in the human body, secure its essential regal prerogatives.** Moreover, **the term "Raja" derives from a root that means "to shine," and the Yoga system is such, that the veils that hide the Atma, whose nature is Light, are dissipated and the Light shines in all directions.**
**And the aspirants of Yoga Brahma Vidya who have had the fortune to enter this school, will soon comprehend that they have put their feet on the lowest step of the ladder that leads to the most elevated goal and that the blessing of Bhagavan Náráyana, Yoga Devi and other Hierarchs of Suddha Dharma Mandalam, will always be with them.**

## II - THE HIERARCHY
### a) Its Constitution
Before entering to consider the constitution of the Hierarchy, its Chief and the work of some of its important members, it is opportune to note that, **whatever may be the name or qualifier given to the Chief of the Hierarchy of Suddha Dharma Mandalam, the creed of this Organization does not become sectarian, in the manner of other dogmatic systems, like Saivism, Vaishanavism, etc.**
**Because, while such dogmatic systems maintain that the objects of aspiration or meditation are Siva, Vishnu, etc., they err in believing that these are the Ultimate object.** Conversely, **the object of aspiration of members of Suddha Dharma Mandalam is the same supreme Brahman, the Invisible and Indefinable, and they recognize the chief of the Hierarchy as a fragment, or the exterior and defined manifestation of the Supreme.**
Hence while the other beliefs are but limited in their doctrine and therefore sectarian, **the belief of Suddha Dharma Mandalam comprehends them all and is, therefore, universal.**
## The Advent of Bhagavan Náráyana
**Having humanity reached a degree of its evolution on the face of this globe, Bhagavan Náráyana appeared in it to guide it toward a superior degree.** He, who has descended from the regions of Maha Vishnu, is presently dwelling in his own form in the regions of **Uttara Badari**. Of Himself, the Lord says:
**"I am a fragment sprouted from Para Brahman and radiant with its Light, the Rishi come from Vishnu to Badari Vana for the protection of the world."**
In other words: **He is the representative of the Supreme, charged with the spiritual government of the world, and following a well-known custom of representatives of appropriating the name of their represented, the Lord has chosen for Himself the name of Náráyana, known qualifier of the Supreme Ishwara or Lord.** He governs and protects the world in his charge, with a power and capacity similar to the own power and capacity of the own Supreme Ishwara, with relation to his Universe.
## The Supreme Influence
**Bhagavan Náráyana exercises the highest influence over all that concerns the world. His advent is to protect those who follow the true principles and to establish true religion.** With such purpose, He has descended to our world, in company of **Nara, a fragment of Himself, Sri Yoga Devi, four Manus and seven great Rishis or Hierarchs, in charge of the Seven Rays.**

### Terrestrial Radiations (Continuation)

**Those telluric radiations exercise their influence on all living beings existing on our planet, from minerals to men and can be put in evidence, either through simple observation of their effects on living beings, either through "sensitive" persons called water-diviners, or, finally, through special apparatus.**
## INFLUENCE ON MINERALS
**Regarding minerals, studies of atomic constitution and discoveries about the radiant state of matter and radioactive bodies, have finally oriented science toward a goal that will surely lead it to affirm in the near future:**
1) **That although elements are many, matter is UNIQUE.**
2) **That those elements can be transmuted one into the others.**
3) **That this unique matter "lives" and that elements "live" their personal existence, as well as microbes, plants and animals.**
**Thus will return, again, to the ancient conceptions of medieval alchemists, which had certainly not been the result of fantastic nightmares or chimeras of naive dreamers, but the result of long centuries of continuous observations, experiences and studies realized in all times and all places by the initiated.**
### Ancient Wisdom Validated
Already **Jerónimo Cardan, the great Italian sage of the XVI century, had said, repeating what from immemorial times had been said by the initiated: "Not only do stones live, but they suffer disease, old age and death."** Those stones that had been considered until recently as constituted by inert or "non-living" matter, by the simple fact of not presenting some particularities and functions that characterize living beings, begin now, after modern studies on atomic constitution (which shows a marvelous organization analogous to that of a planetary system) and after the discovery of radioactivity (which shows the existence of a particular energy proceeding from the Unique Universal Life) to be considered no more as "bodies" but as "beings," no more inert but animated by a "life" that in them pulsates in characteristic and personal form.
**That "mineral life," which manifests through different radiations according to the diverse elements from which they emanate, is currently being minutely studied** and, although the same investigators probably do not suspect it, **their investigations will surely lead to the scientific confirmation of esoteric principles: "Life is One," "Everything lives," "The life of each being is the individualization of the Unique Life."** The first modern discoveries, in effect, tend to demonstrate them.
### Modern Scientific Validation
**He who first occupied himself with studying the influences of radiations proceeding from metals on man, has been Burq and many others, afterward, have occupied themselves with studying them experimentally.**
**Professor Rabín arrived at confirming homeopathic principles, affirming that "medicines work by their dynamism and not by their mass."**

## The Living Earth Principle
**But, if it has been established that minerals "live" their personal existence, which manifests to us in so varied manners, it has also been established that they are integral parts of that living being that is our Earth, just as pancreatic cells, spleen, brain, etc., are integral parts of that living being that is Man.**
And, on the other hand, **just as man's life or that of any other animal or plant, is the resultant of individualization or transformation of the Unique Life proceeding from our Sun into human, animal or vegetal life; just as pancreatic, hepatic, cerebral life, etc., is the individualization of human life; just as the life of a pancreatic, hepatic, cerebral cell, etc., is the individualization of pancreatic, hepatic, cerebral life, etc.;** just as in physics the seven colors into which a ray of white light decomposes when incident upon a prism and which can be considered as the individualization or "personal life" of parts of the prism of the "unique life" or luminous ray, etc., **so also the life of each mineral is nothing but the individualization of terrestrial life, that is, the transformation of that terrestrial life into life of iron, gold, silver, etc., and their compounds.**
**Those minerals receive, then, constantly, those terrestrial radiations, of which one of their modalities, magnetism, we have already summarily studied in our previous articles.** It is those terrestrial radiations that can be considered as the source of the personal life of minerals and if they should come to be lacking, **those minerals would "die" just like all the other beings that live on earth, if solar light or atmospheric air should come to be lacking to them.**
