## Living Reality of Symbolism: The Point (Part 1)

### The Geometric Mystery and Consciousness Identification

**By Jehel, S. I., Dr. Kab.**

**Preliminary:** Habitually, all consideration of symbolism is conditioned by determined ideology: religious, philosophical, or scientific notation. The mind accepts the symbol as a comfortable formula for representing an expressed and accepted concept. Taken in such form, the symbol becomes barely like the statement of an illness whose reason, mode and evolution are given as known without thereby truly accompanying its integral reality of manifestation. In this series of articles something more is sought: to attempt to facilitate (nothing more is possible) to the Disciple or Reader, identification with the living reality of the symbol. The way to accomplish this has three steps:

**1st.** Read the article with attention, trying to understand with the intellect what the text expresses.

**2nd.** Passing from (what has come to be called) the concrete mind to the abstract mind, try to represent, to "see," in space, how much is described and suggested in the text.

**3rd.** Making a meditation on each exposed part, try to identify the living reality of the symbol with individual life.

Insofar as possible, we will give in each article some indications about the practical exercises which, according to our own experience, it is interesting to perform in relation to the main matters of these considerations.

### THE GEOMETRIC FOUNDATION

**THE POINT:** When thinking of a point, we can do so without giving it definite form; we say or think "a point." That is acting by idiomatic habit, with superficiality.

Let us stop thinking about the point. We are obliged to give it form. If that form is "irregular," in it are distinguished parts; therefore, it is no longer a point, since vision or mind clashes with its protuberances.

Let us stop thinking about the point. We are obliged to give it form. If that form is "irregular," in it are distinguished parts; therefore, it is no longer a point, since vision or mind clashes with its protuberances.

Therefore, a "point" is of regular form. The most regular and simple form is a small circle. But a circle drawn, on paper or in the mind, is either "empty" or has a surface, white or colored.

We must shrink the circle until it becomes so small that we no longer distinguish the circle from its interior. We then have a small circular point, let us say black.

But, however small it may be, it will be possible to divide it into numerous parts: two, four, eight, etc., by "geometric thinking."

Moreover, that small flat circle could perfectly well be a "little ball," that is, a sphere, and in reality it is, since, however infinitely small we imagine it, we think fatally in three dimensions: width, length, thickness.

Therefore, the first possible representation of a CONCRETE point is a sphere or little ball, which we can keep shrinking more and more without managing to suppress it.

### THE ABSTRACT APPROACH

Let us then proceed in a different manner. Let us take the cover of the magazine and look at the "sun" represented there. We discover then that it has no circular limit. It is an abstract, virtual "point," determined by the lines that converge toward it.

With the mind, we can bring those lines closer, prolonging them, toward the center of the "sun" without their managing to touch each other. We will thus be able to form an "emptiness" infinitely small, situated where infinite rays converge. And if we do this not now on a flat surface, we will have an "emptiness" placed in the center of a sphere formed solely by infinite rays.

Do you know the "seed" that flies, that one which children like to blow? Thus will be our point: all the brilliant little rays, almost impalpable, of the seed, are the infinite rays, but, instead of reaching the small dark seed, they would reach an "invisible but existing point."

Therefore, the second possible representation of an ABSTRACT point is an infinitely small, spherical void, situated in the convergence of infinite rays.

But if the point, instead of becoming smaller and smaller, grew continuously?

Little by little an enormous, immense sphere would form, without possible measure, since it would have to encompass everything.

But, to encompass everything, it cannot be either dark or dense. It must be an immense spherical point, of translucent matter (?), so imponderable and fine that it compenetrates the very matter of "everything" that is contained within it and in such a way that not even can contained parts be distinguished from the sphere that contains everything.

Mentally, it would then be like an immense (without measure) sphere of crystal, perfectly translucent and that cannot be seen FROM OUTSIDE since it contains everything.

### THE THREEFOLD NATURE

**THE POINT IS, THEREFORE:**

Mentally, it would then be like an immense (without measure) sphere of crystal, perfectly translucent and that cannot be seen FROM OUTSIDE since it contains everything.

### THE THREEFOLD NATURE

**THE POINT IS, THEREFORE:**

**OR a CONCRETE POINT,** considerable only thus because it is considered in itself, without taking into account anything but it. To arrive at considering it each time more clearly, it will be necessary to reduce it each time more until managing to "THINK" only of an infinitely small WITHOUT EVEN THINKING OF ANOTHER THING, FOR IN SUCH CASE IT WOULD RESULT AGAIN DIVISIBLE. IT IS LIKE A CONSCIOUSNESS PROFOUNDLY CONCENTRATED IN ITSELF.

**OR THE POINT IS:** an abstraction, a void, a "non-form defined or definable, determined or determinable solely by the quantity of rays, of facts, of circumstances, of factors, that, THERE WHERE THE POINT SEEMS TO BE, CONCUR. IT IS LIKE THAT IMPONDERABLE THING, THAT UNGRASPABLE LOCALIZATION THAT IS THE "CONSCIOUSNESS OF BEING" that only has consciousness of itself through the RELATIONSHIP it has with all that surrounds it (the infinite rays, facts, agents, circumstances, etc.).

**OR A POINT IS:** a sphere without measure, without limit or "thinkable" surface, whose mass is invisible, interpenetrating and nonetheless indifferentiable from all that it contains, as if the contained were nothing more than temporary modification of particles of the very mass, modification however partial, incomplete, since the spherical totality continues translucent.

IT IS LIKE A UNIVERSAL EXPRESSION OF CONSCIOUSNESS, without possible notion of time, space, differences of existential modes.

## Living Reality of Symbolism: The Point (Part 2)

### Practical Exercises and Consciousness Realization

**By Jehel, S. I., Dr. Kab.**

### PRACTICAL EXERCISES

**Exercise 1:**

I, without what surrounds me, without body, without sensations, without feelings, without thoughts, AM A POINT THAT HAS CONSCIOUSNESS OF BEING. I reduce myself, I gather myself, I CONCENTRATE IN MY OWN ESSENCE. I do not hear, do not touch, do not see, do not breathe, do not think.....I AM.

**Exercise 2:**

I AM NOT. I feel being. I believe being. I think being. I have consciousness of MYSELF, between father and mother, between yesterday and today, between good and evil, between pleasure and pain, between being born and dying. I am a void.. My consciousness is the interior of a soap bubble; on its surface are reflected the thousand agents of the UNIVERSAL MOMENT and by perceiving some of them I have the CONSCIOUSNESS OF BEING. My existence is like a fine particle; if it broke I would not be able to think of MYSELF.

**Exercise 3:**

I AM AND I AM NOT. I breathe and expire. It comes and goes. Pendulum of life and consciousness. Only the eternal, infinite exchange in times and modes within Eternity, between the point that IS as a point while it is enclosed in a form that FEELS ITSELF BEING, and the totality of the SPHERE, gives the notion of being. In reality I AND SHE are one. I am one of the infinite POINTS in which sounds the ECHO of the Pendulum of Eternity. In the silence I listen to MY CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE UNIVERSE IN THE BEATING OF MY HEART.

**Note:** It would be recommended that those who so desire, perform these exercises daily, until receiving the next number of the magazine that contained the following ones.

### THE METAPHYSICAL IMPLICATIONS

The Point, as explored through this symbolic analysis, reveals itself as the fundamental principle through which consciousness knows itself. It represents the paradox of all mystical experience: the simultaneous reality of the infinitely small (individual consciousness) and the infinitely large (universal consciousness).

### THE THREE MODES OF BEING

**1. The Concrete Point** represents individual consciousness in its most concentrated form—the pure "I AM" that exists prior to all identification with form, thought, or sensation. This is the consciousness that meditation seeks to isolate and experience directly.

**2. The Abstract Point** represents relational consciousness—the awareness that knows itself only through its relationships and interactions with the world. This is the normal waking consciousness that most people mistake for their true identity.

**3. The Universal Point** represents cosmic consciousness—the awareness that has expanded to identify with the totality of existence while maintaining the capacity for individual focus and action.

### THE PRACTICAL PATH

The exercises provided are not mere philosophical speculation but practical methods for shifting consciousness between these three modes of being. Through sustained practice, the student learns to:

- **Concentrate** consciousness into its essential nature (Exercise 1)

- **Recognize** the relational nature of ordinary awareness (Exercise 2)

- **Integrate** the individual and universal aspects of consciousness (Exercise 3)

### THE ALCHEMICAL PROCESS

This work with the Point represents a form of consciousness alchemy. Just as physical alchemy seeks to transform base metals into gold, consciousness alchemy seeks to transform ordinary awareness into enlightened awareness.

Just as physical alchemy seeks to transform base metals into gold, consciousness alchemy seeks to transform ordinary awareness into enlightened awareness.

The Point serves as both the crucible and the philosopher's stone of this transformation. It is the space within which the work occurs and simultaneously the principle through which the transformation is accomplished.

### THE LIVING SYMBOL

What distinguishes this approach to symbolism from mere intellectual study is its emphasis on lived experience rather than theoretical knowledge. The Point is not simply a geometric concept to be understood but a state of consciousness to be realized.

Through the prescribed exercises, the symbol becomes a doorway into direct experience of the fundamental nature of consciousness itself. The student moves from learning ABOUT the Point to BECOMING the Point in its various manifestations.

### THE INTEGRATION

The final exercise reveals the ultimate teaching: the individual point of consciousness and the universal sphere of existence are not separate realities but two aspects of a single truth. The awakened consciousness learns to function simultaneously as both the focused individual and the cosmic totality.

This is the secret of all authentic spiritual realization—not the annihilation of individuality in favor of universality, nor the assertion of individuality against universality, but the recognition that both are expressions of a single, inexhaustible mystery.

## Synarchy: The Harmonic Organization of Society

### Saint-Yves d'Alveydre's Vision of True Government

**By Ch. Barlet, S. I.**

*This article, which has been translated by Pitágoras for the readers of our magazine, was published in La Gnose, March 1910, No. 5, pages 79 to 82.*

— Editorial Note

Synarchy is the term by which the work of our lamented Western Master Saint-Yves d'Alveydre is best known; and with reason, for this notable institution is the soul of his works, as the Mission of the Jews is, of all of them, the masterwork.

However, the distribution of social functions that characterizes Synarchy is not always known with sufficient precision, and, consequently, its immediately practical value is not sufficiently appreciated; the simplicity of its application is not known. This is due to the fact that its exposition and its very principles have been divided by Saint-Yves into three distinct works that were intended to show as many different aspects.

### THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES

Synarchy, harmonious synthesis of the principal constitutional forms, is founded upon a series of principles that must, above all, be expounded:

**I —** Human Society is an organism analogous to the human being, that is, it is composed of a body, a sentimental soul and a mentality.

**II —** In Society, as in the Cosmos and in Man, Mentality, the Verb is or should be the inspirer or director of all action; but Man has received the freedom to accept or refuse its decisions under his responsibility. In the same manner, Society should possess the faculty of accepting or refusing the precepts of the social Body that will make its verb known to it.

**III —** To assure its unity, the Nation has need, however, of establishing a line of conduct that it will impose on all its members, a common Law that certain officials will enforce with force if necessary; a political government is needed.

Due to responsibility, which is the corollary of the freedom of citizens, the Law must be the expression of their common will, and those who execute it can only be their delegates, their mandatories.

These mandatories are necessarily distinct from those superior and chosen men who represent the Verb. For if the Verb does not oblige, much less can it be subjected to the fluctuations of public will. It is the Universal Will.

### THE THREE FUNCTIONS

**First consequence.** — Society has three principal functions, three modalities of its life:

A spiritual life by which it understands the Will and receives the aid of the Verb.

A common life by which it expresses its own social will.

A political life that translates this will into Law, that enforces this Law, and that assures the interior functioning or exterior protection of the social Body in its Unity.

**Second consequence:** — The social expression of the Verb, or of the Universal Will, is a function completely distinct from the other two and independent of each one of them. It is the Authority: its essence is Fraternity. It is the function of the Priesthood.

The expression of social will is a right of each citizen and is the condensation of individual wills; it is completely free; it must manifest itself by the election of mandatories charged with enforcing it by virtue of imperative mandates. It is the function of the Electorate or of the governed: its essence is Freedom.

The realization of this will by the mandatories of the people is not independent; it is bound first by the mandate of the electors. It must be bound, on the other hand, with the precepts of the Verb; it is in accordance with these precepts that the national Will must be translated into Law. This intermediary function, subordinated to the other two and reuniting them to give them practical reality, constitutes the Power, the function of the governors. This function is double: establishment of the Law; application of the Law; its essence is Equality.

### THE FUNDAMENTAL SAFEGUARDS

Thus the fundamental principles are:

Authority is distinct from Power; the accumulation of the two is absolutely prohibited; temporal Power is distinct from spiritual.

### THE FUNDAMENTAL SAFEGUARDS

Thus the fundamental principles are:

Authority is distinct from Power; the accumulation of the two is absolutely prohibited; temporal Power is distinct from spiritual.

Moreover, the total freedom of the governed is thus safeguarded while the governors, on the contrary, are bound by two parties, but are the only ones who possess the exercise of Power.

It will be, therefore, the opposite of all tyranny.

### THE ECONOMIC DIMENSION

One observation remains to be made:

In all that precedes we are dealing with expression and realization of wills and, consequently, with psychic life, so to speak. Material life has other interests, these are more individual. Unity is established more easily in the plane of personal interests; it is established, so to speak, from below, while in the other functions, it comes from above. Economy will thus have its special place in which freedom will dominate.

In the same manner, and inversely, mental Life will be more imperative given that it proceeds from the Verb; but it will not impose itself except on conscience, and through the intermediary of Authority.

There will be, therefore, three rules that must penetrate and vary the three classes of lives; that is, in each of the three principal functions there will be necessary to distinguish three subdivisions:

One representing the superior Law of the Verb or Mentality.

Another the social Law entrusted to Power.

The third, the economic Law, abandoned to the most ample freedom of decision of the Electorate.

### THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

These principles suffice to make understood the following distribution of functions that constitute Synarchy; space fails to comment on it, but the chart we give is, without doubt, sufficiently clear.

**I — ECONOMIC LIFE — ELECTORATE**

*(Individual wills taken in their totality)*

Principle of democratic organization.

Realization of Freedom.

*(By three electoral colleges named by universal suffrage, which will be designated, and by the drafting of public obligations)*

**Result:**

Three Electoral Colleges: 1st (spiritual) of Teaching (or of intellectual life); 2nd (judicial) of juridical Power; 3rd (material) of economic Power.

**II — MORAL LIFE — GOVERNMENT**

*(Union of the two wills: Universal and individual)*

Principle of aristocratic organization.

Realization of Equality.

Election by the aforementioned Electoral Colleges of three Councils: 1st Council of Authority (or spiritual); 2nd Council of Power (or judicial); 3rd Council of Economy (or material).

Charged with drafting the Law.

**Note:** The councilors can only be elected from among candidates designated by Authority and by means of examinations.

For the execution of the Law, that is, for Government proper, the three Councilors respectively name, by election, three Ministers: 1st of Intellectual Life (the Primate); 2nd of Moral Life (the Sovereign Justiciary); 3rd of Economic Life (the Great Economist).

For the execution of the Law, that is, for Government proper, the three Councilors respectively name, by election, three Ministers: 1st of Intellectual Life (the Primate); 2nd of Moral Life (the Sovereign Justiciary); 3rd of Economic Life (the Great Economist).

The Sovereign Justiciary is the chief of Executive Power.

**III — SPIRITUAL LIFE - AUTHORITY**

*(Universal Will accepted)*

Principle of monarchical organization.

Realization of Fraternity.

*(By a priestly hierarchy whose members have been educated through Initiation, and crowned by a supreme Pontificate)*

It fulfills three functions:

Of Priesthood (Teaching of sacred Science, Theurgy, Initiation).

Of theoretical Teaching of all kinds (common science and examinations of candidates for Power).

Of public Worship.

### Jupiter in the Twelve Signs - The Benefic Influence

**Teachings of Surya S. I.**

## JUPITER (The Most Benefic Planet)

**JUPITER IN ARIES** gives success in enterprises that the person undertakes and in military or political functions, protecting them on all occasions from the danger of fire and weapons. It gives a spiritual, energetic, alert and ambitious mind, with the will to occupy a position where they can direct and command others. It also gives a sympathetic, sincere, kind disposition, worthy of trust and sometimes inclined to religious life; neither very conservative nor very impulsive, but cautious. If it is afflicted, the mind is not so conservative nor so well balanced, with tendency to bad humor, impatience, impulsive and precipitated acts.

**JUPITER IN TAURUS** gives strength of character, sympathetic and frank nature, love for arts, for nature, for children and for justice. If it is well aspected it grants favors from women, powerful friends, riches and fortune through marriage, giving a very kind and sympathetic nature and a very generous philanthropic disposition toward loved ones, but a little more cautious toward others. If it is afflicted it inclines to extravagant expenses and for the satisfaction of their lower nature, feeling great pleasure from good food, financial difficulties and illnesses as a consequence of this.

**JUPITER IN GEMINI** gives success in enterprises with unforeseen reversals, taste for mathematics, sciences, literature and inventions. If it is well aspected it gives high literary capacity, inclination toward occultism, profitable travels and a kind, courteous and friendly disposition. If it is afflicted, it occasions losses and displeasures during travels, in which there will be accidents from which they will escape miraculously, legal and religious inconveniences and displeasures with siblings and relatives.

If it is afflicted, it occasions losses and displeasures during travels, in which there will be accidents from which they will escape miraculously, legal and religious inconveniences and displeasures with siblings and relatives.

**JUPITER IN CANCER** is favorable and compensates the malign effects that the malefics might occasion. Nevertheless, if it is afflicted, it inclines to disordered gluttony that generally corrupts the blood and causes illnesses for this cause, giving propensity to financial difficulties and to displeasures with creditors. If it is well situated, it will behave in a way that health does not suffer, even being fond of the pleasures of the table; the person will be enterprising, ambitious, successful in speculations and business, will have popularity, will make fortune and receive inheritances, especially after the middle of life, which is when its influence will be felt most, and if it is found in the 15 degrees of this sign it will become very powerful.

**JUPITER IN LEO** gives just, good, loyal, prudent, wise, foresighted, courageous and magnanimous persons, of great intelligence, sweet, ambitious, cultured and refined, lovers of honors and who will occupy high State and Church functions, and who will have success in speculative investments. If it is afflicted, the person will be cruel and sensual, fond of pleasures in abnormal form and prone to losses in speculations and games.

**JUPITER IN VIRGO** makes the person analytical, practical, prudent, studious, friend of sciences, justice, honesty and independence, although somewhat conservative and irritable. The person will never reveal a secret. If it is well aspected, it grants prosperity through business or professional vocations, the person will become richer than their relatives and will maintain very good relations with their servants, who will be faithful and loyal to them. If Jupiter is afflicted it gives a cynical, criticizing, untrustworthy disposition and exposed to losses because of servants and employees; they will not have success in their business and it will be difficult for them to find and keep their jobs.

**JUPITER IN LIBRA** gives a good, attentive and just character, but if it is well aspected it gives an extremely kind disposition and a desired, sociable, benevolent nature, lover of arts and of the elevation of humanity. It presages a happy marriage, protection from women, influential friendships, gains derived from these and success in occupations related to medicine or Justice. If it is afflicted, an excessive indulgence of the lower nature will occasion displeasures, public scandals and discredit.

It presages a happy marriage, protection from women, influential friendships, gains derived from these and success in occupations related to medicine or Justice. If it is afflicted, an excessive indulgence of the lower nature will occasion displeasures, public scandals and discredit.

**JUPITER IN SCORPIO** gives a proud, ardent, ambitious, authoritarian, prudent, egotistical nature, confident in itself and desirous of governing others. It gives an enthusiastic, constructive mind with resources and success at work, especially in mechanics, surgery and medicine. It also gives inclination toward occult sciences. If it is afflicted, the person will create many enemies, will have quarrels and lawsuits and will enrich themselves through violence. They will also have losses and displeasures as a consequence of satisfying their lower nature in a disordered way, being lover of rich and expensive foods that will later produce illnesses.

**JUPITER IN SAGITTARIUS** is in its own sign and makes the person affable, courteous, humane and friend of all kinds of sports. When it is well aspected it announces honors, success in enterprises, luck, fortune, high positions and social elevation, giving a just and noble disposition and a broad and philosophical mind. If it is afflicted it inclines to gambling, with loss of social esteem if born in a good environment, will have displeasures from litigation and financial difficulties and if inclined to religious life will be a fanatic and sectarian.

**JUPITER IN CAPRICORN** makes the person ingenious, careful, kind, sincere, honest and of word, economical and with aversion to waste, leading them to elevated positions and with capacity to command well and prudently. If Jupiter does not receive some good aspect from some of the other benefic planets, these enumerated qualities remain diminished, since Jupiter's position in this sign is not favorable. If it is afflicted, the person will become an avaricious person.

**JUPITER IN AQUARIUS** makes the person good, attentive, just, charitable, ingenious, inclined to scientific study and generally indifferent to practical life, being prudent, religious, enemy of disputes, but terrible in their angers. It is favorable to the study of engineering. When it is well aspected it makes the mind more humane, optimistic and original, with inclination to sciences of mysticism, literature and music and with like-minded friendships that will help them achieve their yearnings, generally obtaining success in life. If it is afflicted, it makes the person restless, nervous, with extremist ideas, with aversion to serious work, being despised for not being trusted.

If it is afflicted, it makes the person restless, nervous, with extremist ideas, with aversion to serious work, being despised for not being trusted.

**JUPITER IN PISCES** inclines to study and gives much talent, a sympathetic, charitable, merciful, hospitable nature and with numerous friends, sensitive and with probable psychic experiences. It presages a not very happy marriage. It gives love for music, art and literature, and if it is well aspected by Venus it gives great ability as an actor. If it is well aspected it presages honors and a high function. When it is afflicted it gives a vacillating and enervated mind and a cowardly nature which all vices satisfy, making them wretched, with danger of scandals and enmities with influential persons.

### THE SPIRITUAL DIMENSION OF JUPITER

Beyond the traditional astrological interpretations, Jupiter represents the principle of expansion, wisdom, and spiritual aspiration in human consciousness. Its placement in the natal chart reveals how the soul seeks to grow, learn, and contribute to the greater good.

Jupiter's journey through the zodiac shows the different ways in which wisdom manifests and spiritual growth occurs. Each sign placement represents a particular classroom in the university of life, where specific lessons about truth, justice, and meaning must be learned.

When well-aspected, Jupiter bestows the higher mind's gifts: philosophical understanding, moral discrimination, and the capacity to inspire others through teaching and example. When afflicted, Jupiter reveals the shadow side of expansion: excess, fanaticism, dogmatism, and the inflation of the ego in the name of higher purposes.

## Suddha Dharma Mandalam (Continuation)

### The Maya Gita and Advanced Vedantic Teachings

**Commentary on the Bhagavad Gita Bashya by Hamsa Yogui**

**Explanatory Synthesis by Guru Swami Subramanianda**

**Spanish Version by G. Bruno**

Hamsa Yogui calls attention toward two other important lessons suggested by the remaining content of this chapter.

One of them is that the Lamp of Wisdom, always expressed by the [translate:Yoga Brahma Vidya], burns splendid in special times, through the work of Those Powerful and Superhuman Beings called Avatars, who manifest among men in epochs of great cyclical changes and accomplish what is necessary to impel Humanity.

This is the lesson that the submission as disciple of Arjuna to Krishna suggests to us, who appeared at the precise moment to impart the teachings that the world so much needed and to serve as Guide.

The other lesson demonstrates to us how in all times, [translate:Brahmic] Power works in the Universe in its obscure or [translate:asuric] phases on one side, and brilliant or [translate:Daivi] on the other.

The other lesson demonstrates to us how in all times, [translate:Brahmic] Power works in the Universe in its obscure or [translate:asuric] phases on one side, and brilliant or [translate:Daivi] on the other.

The tendency of the first phase is materialistic, while that of the second is spiritual.

A demonstration of this we find in Duryodhana, who trusted in triumph based on the numerical force of his army; while Arjuna, on the contrary, trusted in the Guidance that the Avatar gave him, invoking Durga, whom he implores so that she might assure him triumph over Duryodhana.

Such invocation of Arjuna to the [translate:Sakti] of [translate:Brahman] with the name of Durga is, as the etymology of the word expresses it, in its aspect of Dissipator of the dangers that overwhelm those who, like the Pandavas, deserved by their merits and goodness HER protection.

### THE SIX CHAPTERS OF THE SECOND SECTION

Continuing now with the content of the first section, Hamsa Yogui explains the nexus existing between such content and the six phrases with which Arjuna describes his thoughts and feelings, which led him to collapse when he saw his relatives and friends against whom he had to fight.

Such phrases are the following and refer to the six chapters respectively:

1st. [translate:Sidanti mama gatrani.]

2nd. [translate:Mukhancha parisushyati.]

3rd. [translate:Vepathuscha Sareereme.]

4th. [translate:Romaharshascha jayate.]

5th. [translate:Gandivam Sramsate hastat.]

6th. [translate:Twackchaiva paridahyate.]

Taking the phrases word by word, Hamsa Yogui constructs them in their esoteric sense.

And he can do this, since the words used deliberately admit a meaning with reference to Arjuna in his quality as Warrior, as well as in his condition of disciple who seeks spiritual instruction from an Omniscient Master.

Suffice it to say that these descriptions of Arjuna demonstrated that he was acting under the influence of the gravest errors regarding his own nature and position of one who, like him, was evolving as a human [translate:Jiva].

In such situation and moved by compassion, the Master imparted to him the knowledge that would dissipate the darkness, instructing him concerning the end and objective of human evolution and the means to attain it.

### THE RATIONAL ORDER OF CHAPTERS

Hamsa Yogui points out that the rational order of those chapters will be better understood if the student takes them from behind, beginning with the one that bears the title [translate:KAIVALYA GITADHYAYA].

This chapter demonstrates that the goal of human evolution is [translate:Kaivalya] or the state in which a determined individual attains immortality, a term that must be interpreted in the sense of liberation from birth and death, and that their consciousness has reached such a degree of expansion that it converts them into the master of power and wisdom and into the possessor of a peace and happiness incapable of being described by human language.

The chapter that precedes the cited one and which is titled: [translate:Karana Gitadhyaya], explains that the cause of all manifestation is the [translate:PARA BRAHMAN], in its aspect of [translate:PARAMATMA], and that the spirit of man or [translate:Kshetrajna] is a ray or spark of the [translate:Paramatma] and therefore detached from the limitations and qualities of the [translate:Kshetram] or human bodies, which enables it to attain the state of [translate:Kaivalya] already expressed.

The third chapter called [translate:Siksha Gitadhyaya], indicates the kind of life that must be observed by one who aspires to the state of [translate:Kaivalya].

### THE THREE HIERARCHICAL CHAPTERS

The three remaining chapters, taken together, speak to us of the designation of a Great Hierarchy for the spiritual Government of the world.

The first of these chapters, whose name [translate:Nara Narayana Gitadhyaya] derives from the titles that emerged for the exalted Hierarchy, and its Official Chief, reveals, personified in Arjuna, the [translate:Brahmic] nature in its fourfold manifestation, and shows, in effect, that the power of Wisdom, love and benefits that emanate from the [translate:Ishvara] of our solar system and even of higher origin, reach the world through the members of that Hierarchy.

The second chapter, called [translate:Avatara Gitadhyaya], explains the circumstances in which powerful Beings appear visibly among men, as Messengers of the Hierarchy and restore Justice when it declines, also accomplishing what is necessary for the faithful fulfillment of the Divine Plan in the World.

The third chapter called [translate:Adhikara Gitadhyaya] makes allusion, among other things, to those members of the Hierarchy in charge of the various departments of world government, especially the seven RISHIS, the four MANUS and others, who are the progenitors of our race.

### THE KNOWLEDGE SECTION

These six chapters, which together form the [translate:Jnana] Section, constitute the first section of the [translate:Sankhya] triad, which is considered the first of the two topics under which the [translate:Yoga Brahma Vidya] is expounded.

It will not be superfluous to add that the aspirant to spiritual progress who does not maintain intensely alive the vital nature of his relationship between him and the Hierarchy, is like the child who ignores his guardian, who can protect him from evil and guide him with the greatest Wisdom.

For this reason, it should not surprise us that Hamsa Yogui and other writers of his school constantly recommend to those who devote themselves to service of Humanity, to invoke the blessings of the Hierarchy so that such devotion may be crowned with success.

And finally, let us not forget that the Gita itself proclaims in a loud voice that: **WHEREVER KRISHNA AND ARJUNA ARE TOGETHER THERE WILL BE VICTORY.**

### THE DEVOTIONAL SECTION

And finally, let us not forget that the Gita itself proclaims in a loud voice that: **WHEREVER KRISHNA AND ARJUNA ARE TOGETHER THERE WILL BE VICTORY.**

### THE DEVOTIONAL SECTION

Passing now to the second section or [translate:Bhakti], Hamsa Yogui demonstrates that the set of teachings contained in the six chapters of which such section consists were given with a view to dissipating the difficulty under which Arjuna was acting, as the following affirmation shows us: [translate:"Nacha Saknomyavasthatum"] which follows immediately after the six phrases commented in the course of the notes of the last section.

The explanations that Hamsa Yogui gives us regarding Arjuna's ideas, upon making such affirmation, is as follows:

Arjuna, considering [translate:Kaivalya] as his goal, felt that the great obstacle interposed in the path of his quick progress consisted in his complete lack of willpower.

The Master, perceiving that such was the exact nature of Arjuna's difficulty, penetrated into a minute analysis of the causes that lay at the very root of such difficulty and imparted to him the knowledge judged necessary for the extirpation of those causes.

The Master treats six topics of cardinal importance, each of which forms the matter of the six chapters respectively.

Such six chapters refer, in effect, to [translate:Kama] or object of desire, [translate:Iccha] or desire, [translate:Sankalpa] or will, [translate:Chinta] or reflection, [translate:Dhyana] or Meditation and [translate:Bhakti] or devotion.

## Cosmic Influences and Chromotherapy (Final)

### Advanced Color Healing: Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet

**By Pitágoras, S. I.**

Now that we know the nature of colors, how and where their therapeutic or pathogenic influences reach the mind, life and physical body, and having established the modus operandi for their therapeutic employment, we are going to concern ourselves with the influence of the 7 colors of the spectrum on the mental, vital and physical states of man, whether they are physiological or pathological states.

### 4. GREEN

Green exercises a soothing, refreshing and sedating action. In the aura in which green vibrations are weak, those of red color predominate, that is, all those vibrations that predominate in the passionate, violent, and irritable.

Dr. White has cured several nervous affections employing radiations of green color.

In healthy man, green causes, due to its calming power, sensations of freshness, rest, tranquility, and makes the mind incline toward meditation and reflection.

The absence or weakness of green manifests:

In the physical body, as nervous irritability and muscular tension.

In the astral body, as feelings of annoyance, anger, and passion in general.

In the psychic body, as thoughts of hatred, envy, irritation, and violence.

The absence or weakness of green manifests:

In the physical body, as nervous irritability and muscular tension.

In the astral body, as feelings of annoyance, anger, and passion in general.

In the psychic body, as thoughts of hatred, envy, irritation, and violence.

The excess of green manifests:

In the physical body, as excessive muscular relaxation and nervous depression.

In the astral body, as feelings of excessive tranquility and indifference.

In the psychic body, as thoughts of peace, harmony, and brotherhood, but also of indifference and apathy.

Green should be employed, therefore, therapeutically, in all cases where a soothing and sedating action is needed.

The diseases in which it can be employed successfully are: nervous excitation, insomnia, neuralgia, nervous headaches, irritability of all kinds, high blood pressure, heart palpitations, eye inflammations (with blue), conjunctivitis, etc.

### 5. BLUE

Blue exercises a calming, refreshing, astringent and antiseptic action. In the aura in which blue vibrations are weak, those of orange color predominate, that is, all those vibrations that predominate in the restless, impatient, and worldly.

Dr. Finsen has cured smallpox with blue light. Dr. White has obtained excellent results in the treatment of rheumatism, neuralgia, insomnia, and various inflammations with blue radiations. Dr. Kemp Prosser has cured sciatica, inflammatory rheumatism, and nervous diseases with blue color.

In healthy man, blue causes, due to its calming power, sensations of coolness, rest, devotion, and inclination toward religious and elevated thoughts.

The absence or weakness of blue manifests:

In the physical body, as inflammatory states and tissue irritation.

In the astral body, as restlessness, impatience, and materialistic tendencies.

In the psychic body, as superficial, material, and unspiritual thoughts.

The excess of blue manifests:

In the physical body, as excessive cooling and muscular depression.

In the astral body, as melancholy, sadness, and mystical exaltation.

In the psychic body, as religious and mystical thoughts, sometimes leading to fanaticism.

The diseases in which it can be employed successfully are: all inflammatory conditions, fevers, hysteria, epilepsy, inflammations of the throat, laryngitis, hoarseness, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, bilious colic, certain forms of asthma and heart diseases, inflammations of the eyes, etc.

### 6. INDIGO

Indigo exercises an astringent, sedating and narcotic action. In the aura in which indigo vibrations are weak, those of yellow color predominate.

Dr. White has obtained excellent results treating various mental diseases with indigo radiations.

In healthy man, indigo causes sensations of coolness and inclination toward deep meditation and abstract thought.

The absence or weakness of indigo manifests:

In the physical body, as nervous excitation and loss of mental control.

In healthy man, indigo causes sensations of coolness and inclination toward deep meditation and abstract thought.

The absence or weakness of indigo manifests:

In the physical body, as nervous excitation and loss of mental control.

In the astral body, as anxiety, agitation, and emotional instability.

In the psychic body, as scattered, superficial, and unfocused thoughts.

The excess of indigo manifests:

In the physical body, as excessive sedation and mental depression.

In the astral body, as withdrawal from practical life and emotional coldness.

In the psychic body, as profound meditation but possible loss of contact with practical reality.

The diseases in which it can be employed successfully are: mental derangement, dementia, various obsessions, hysteria, certain forms of epilepsy, excessive nervous irritability, etc.

### 7. VIOLET

Violet exercises an action similar to that of indigo but more elevated and spiritual. It has particular affinity with the nervous system and psychic faculties.

In healthy man, violet inspires elevated thoughts, spirituality, and psychic development.

The absence or weakness of violet manifests:

In the physical body, as nervous depression and lack of vital tone.

In the astral body, as lack of spiritual aspiration and noble ideals.

In the psychic body, as materialistic and gross thoughts.

The excess of violet manifests:

In the physical body, as nervous over-excitation and possible psychic imbalance.

In the astral body, as excessive mysticism and separation from practical life.

In the psychic body, as elevated but possibly unbalanced psychic and spiritual thoughts.

The diseases in which it can be employed successfully are: nervous depression, certain forms of insanity, lack of spiritual development, and various psychic imbalances.

### CONCLUSION: THE COMPLETE SPECTRUM

The seven colors of the spectrum thus offer a complete therapeutic system based on the vibratory nature of both disease and healing. Each color addresses specific imbalances in the threefold constitution of man—physical, astral, and mental.

The skilled chromotherapist learns to diagnose not merely physical symptoms but the deeper vibrational disharmonies that manifest as disease. By applying the appropriate colors through various methods—environmental, dietary, auric, and mental—balance can be restored and health maintained.

This science, ancient in its roots but supported by modern experimental evidence, offers humanity a gentle yet effective approach to healing that works with the fundamental forces of life rather than against them.

The future of medicine lies not in the suppression of symptoms but in the restoration of harmony at all levels of human existence. Chromotherapy, properly understood and applied, provides valuable tools for this more enlightened approach to health and healing.

## Meditation on the Alchemical Symbol of the Phoenix

### The Regeneration of the Individual Through Spiritual Fire

**By Fátima, I. M.**

*(Work read by the Venerable Sister Fátima at Centro Papus No. 5, on May 10, 1946)*

In the first days of March and under a special state, inexplicable to me, the thought was inspired to me, almost imperiously, to paint the alchemical symbol of the Phoenix. Why? In those days there is a palpitation that moves and shakes me... I feel the soft influence, and at the same time impetuous, of the beloved Rose Cross Current, that impels me to meditate on that symbol of profound teachings:

### THE FOUNDATION OF TRANSFORMATION

Man, sensitive truth, as aspect, transitory by his very nature, RESTS IN THE FORM OF NINE STONES ON THE EARTH, (representation of matter), in whose bosom, nevertheless, the seed of Realization can germinate, dark and silent, when it is watered with elevated ideas and with pure thoughts, which are constant prayers.

The triple ternary wants to launch itself in search of the Center or of Unity, which is the spring of life!...

The black coals, attracted by their point of origin, want to convert themselves into DIAMONDS OF LIGHT and merge in the intimate essence and reality of ALL...

**THE WILL** must produce the miracle of "THE CREATION OF A BEING BY HIMSELF," in his immortal aspiration, and must give him the possibility of unfolding wings of unsuspected realizations. FAITH! HOPE!... To reach the third ray of the fulgurating star, that is, LOVE, it is necessary TO DIE ON THE CROSS, TO EXALT IT AND DOMINATE IT!...

### THE MYSTICAL CONSTRUCTION

The Phoenix, representation of that aspiration of immortality that man carries within himself, seeks aromatic woods and, in a powerful movement of the soul, in an intense projection of his will, UNITES THEM IN CROSS, as expression of the Law of Good and Evil, which manifests in man's life according to the polarity of his thoughts: imperfect cross! which, for lacking the equilibrium of understanding, cannot touch at the points of Prudence, Justice, Fortitude and Temperance, the circle of Divinity.

And the purifying fire of the trials through which we pass, the fire that devours everything reducing it to ashes, the unconscious accelerator of the birth of the spiritual, rises, from earth to heaven, in the red flames of THE FECUND STATES OF CONSCIOUSNESS.

And the flames sing their prayer, and the perfumes attract the beneficent rain of blessings that mitigate their ardor!... Small and few flames; but sufficient, nevertheless, to burn, little by little, THE CROSS OF IMPERFECTIONS.

And the flames sing their prayer, and the perfumes attract the beneficent rain of blessings that mitigate their ardor!... Small and few flames; but sufficient, nevertheless, to burn, little by little, THE CROSS OF IMPERFECTIONS.

Flames that represent CONSCIOUSLY ACCEPTED PAIN and the efficacious means for the perpetual renovation of life; silent tears of the soul, that do not rise to wet the eyes; flames of silent renunciation, that does not show off its sacrifice; flames of a heart that immolates itself for love, and that gives everything, healing wounds, or alleviating sorrows.

### THE ALCHEMICAL DISSOLUTION

Cracking of matter that DISINTEGRATES, that MELTS, that DISSOLVES in individually attained perfection, secretly, thanks to that divine fire that, with Regeneration, makes us partakers of CREATIVE POWER.

And like mystical leaven that makes the entire mass ferment and rise, that purifying fire like the powder of projection produces the intimate sublimation of man, making appear on the surface, HIS INTERIOR LIFE.

### THE GLORIOUS RESURRECTION

The Phoenix is reborn from its ashes and extending its wings to the blue of a diaphanous firmament, forms, with its body, and with a raised head, whose eyes show, in their vivacity, that its mind has opened fully to understanding, no longer AN IMPERFECT CROSS, but AN EQUILIBRATED CROSS that rises above matter, in a position of transmuting dominion that has the potentiality of the Christ, or realized individual Genius.

The white light received and assimilated, mystical condensation of the three colors that, as active unity manifests in the undulating grace of the three plumes, bathes the ennobled head of THE BIRD THAT IS REBORN FROM ITS ASHES.

Infinite and dazzling light that illuminates consciousness, when one has managed to tear the [translate:mayamic] veil of illusion!...

Serenity. Repose of the soul, quietude of countryside, tranquillity of blue skies, silence of snowy summits.

### THE ETERNAL CYCLE

And a circle of fire, with the silent voice of symbols, surrounding the scene that in the centuries of centuries is succeeding, concretizes, in the astral serpent, those successive operations that lead to the formation of the mystical rose and to its realization, on the cross of REGENERATION AND PERFECTION.

And everything,... achieved by that which sings the alchemical aphorism, in the quaternary of the letters written with flaming fire at the highest of the symbol.

Everything... by: **I.N.R.I.**

### THE DEEPER SIGNIFICANCE

This profound meditation reveals the Phoenix as the perfect symbol of spiritual transformation. The nine stones represent the ninefold constitution of man in its unregenerated state—the personality with its three bodies (physical, astral, mental), each operating on three planes (gross, subtle, causal).

The nine stones represent the ninefold constitution of man in its unregenerated state—the personality with its three bodies (physical, astral, mental), each operating on three planes (gross, subtle, causal).

The imperfect cross formed by the aromatic woods represents the initial spiritual effort, still bound by dualistic thinking and limited understanding. Only through the purifying fire of consciously accepted trials does this cross become perfected, balanced by the four cardinal virtues.

The flame that consumes yet does not destroy represents the alchemical fire of transmutation—not the destructive fire of passion, but the regenerative fire of divine love that transforms base metal into gold, the mortal into the immortal.

The resurrection of the Phoenix with its equilibrated cross reveals the accomplished work: the individual who has achieved mastery over matter while remaining incarnate, who can function simultaneously as human and divine, expressing the Christ consciousness through perfected personality.

### THE FOURFOLD FORMULA

The letters I.N.R.I. traditionally interpreted as "[translate:Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum]" (Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews), reveal in their alchemical significance the formula of regeneration:

- **I** - [translate:Ignis] (Fire) - the divine spark that initiates transformation

- **N** - [translate:Natura] (Nature) - the material basis that must be purified

- **R** - [translate:Renovatur] (Is Renewed) - the process of alchemical regeneration

- **I** - [translate:Integra] (Whole) - the perfected being, integrated and complete

This is the eternal work that each soul must accomplish: the conscious participation in its own divine becoming, the willing sacrifice of the lower nature for the realization of the higher, the death that leads to true life.

## Dialogues of the Ninth Sphere (Dialogue II)

### The Mystical Vision and Sacred Initiation

**By Wronski, I. M.**

Having completed the esoteric rite of primitive Christianity, Anteo returned to occupy his seat. He was extraordinarily fatigued, but profoundly happy.

The physical, energetically shaken by the animic, lost vitality and tended toward repose.

It is thus how, not being able to resist the muscular tension of his eyelids, he let them fall gently. With which those marvelous windows of his soul, leaning out from which he had contemplated so many pains, so many sufferings... and also so many joys! were deprived of light.

A mysterious silence then gravitated, like the cerulean wings of an Angel of the Unknown, over that mystical and stately hall...

### THE VISION BEGINS

Then, something like the shadow of a Shadow seemed to detach itself from the center of the circle of gold (the pantacle) that decorated the table.

### THE VISION BEGINS

Then, something like the shadow of a Shadow seemed to detach itself from the center of the circle of gold (the pantacle) that decorated the table.

Magister, who until then had preserved his hieratic immobility, raised his right hand toward the heights and, after gathering in the palm the little and ring fingers, let it fall slowly, pausedly until occupying a position perpendicular to that of his body. Then he made it turn in azimuth until encountering his left arm; then, and starting from this position, he traced a semicircle toward his right; from there he elevated it as much as possible to, finally, return it to the original position.

Then he extended the fingers as much as he could, then contracted them slightly and finished by directing them at the level of the forehead of the one who, being already his disciple, would end up being his friend.

Something like a beam of amber light—perhaps the corporization of that shadow of Shadow that continued flowing from the pantacle—projected itself onto Anteo's face, illuminating it in a manner very similar to how the moon's rays do when they reflect on a mauve surface.

### THE MYSTICAL EXPERIENCE

Anteo, who continued enjoying the darkness and silence that enveloped him like a caress of the eternal Beloved, had a slight shudder. At the same time, he observed, not without astonishment, that the darkness filled with minute points of light, and the silence, with vaguely audible sounds. Later, the points began to organize into capricious forms, while the sounds increased in intensity. Finally, the forms condensed into a single form, which acquired the contours of a sphere of regular size colored blue.

Simultaneously there was heard an indescribable note, which, after torturing his eardrums, diminished in intensity until losing itself in the distance. Then the ball divided into two—this last one colored red—; from the two emanated a third, colored yellow; a luminous ray of white color arose that enveloped the spheres, until acquiring the figure of an isosceles triangle.

From then on, while something similar to a gong stroke shook his body, the spheres intertwined within the luminous triangle and the entire ensemble descended, until settling gently—after reducing itself to the size of a current coin—at the level of his brow.

### THE SACRED GEOMETRY

The sensation that the contact of this image produced in him seemed like a powerful cold flame, that is, a non-burning fire. And while he wondered what that could signify, he observed that, from the center of the triangle, seven other spheres emanated of color successively blue, red, yellow, orange, violet, green and indigo; which, after a series of evolutions difficult to explain, installed themselves along his back, following the direction of the spinal column.

It was then when, without managing to explain the origin of the force that impelled him, he carried once more the index and middle fingers of his right hand to the brow, that is, to the center of the three intertwined spheres and murmured: "[translate:Per into]"; to which a marvelously modulated voice answered: "[translate:AUM]."

From the brow he let his hand fall to the solar plexus, that is, he traveled, in front, the same path that the spheres had traveled in back, where he stopped. He then pronounced the word "[translate:Malkuth]", and the previous voice answered: "[translate:AMN]" (amen in Spanish).

### THE KABBALISTIC CROSS

At that precise instant, and while one of the spheres remained at the level of the heart, the six remaining ones moved slightly to finally occupy, in column of three, a position equidistant from the spinal column. Immediately afterward, Anteo carried his hand to the left side and added the following name: "in [translate:Gedulah]"; then to the right, and concluded with the word: "in [translate:Geburah]."

This last word was followed by a dazzling column of light that, while it dazzled him, saturated with life even the last cell of his body. Then was heard the harmonious and sonorous voice of Magister that pronounced these words: "SO THAT THE POWER THAT RISES IN YOU MAY BE EQUILIBRATED BY JUSTICE AND CHARITY, I DELIVER TO YOU AT THIS INSTANT THE ROD OF THREE KNOTS WHICH, UPON CUTTING THE COLUMN OF LIGHT, MUST DIVIDE IT INTO FOUR QUADRANTS THAT LOCALIZE THE FOUR LETTERS OF THE INEFFABLE NAME."

### THE SACRED TRANSMISSION

Shaken by this voice that filled his heart with tenderness, Anteo opened his eyes—the windows of his soul, leaning out from which he had contemplated so many pains, so many sufferings... and now so much glory—and contemplated for an instant Magister: the living symbol, the dynamic expression, the visible and human manifestation of the Ancient of One Face; then he got up, and while the Master deposited the staff of three knots on the circle of gold, he threw himself into his arms, where he remained for a long time... a long time...!

And while Master and Disciple communed mystically, transmuting their souls through an unknown alchemy, over the rainbow stretched between the two columns and that bore the inscription: **To Will, To Dare, To Know, To Keep Silent**, that shadow of Shadow, transforming itself now into a round scepter finished by a square and a ball, traced this last name: **KETHER**. And a rose, a fragrant and beautiful rose emerged from the very depth of the mystery, materialized above this name, to let fall, one by one, its marvelous petals, in each of which shone proudly the liquid diamonds of dew.

### THE COMPLETION OF THE WORK

And here ends the second dialogue of the DIALOGUES OF THE NINTH SPHERE, written for the solace of the reader and glory of the G.A.D.U. ([translate:Gran Arquitecto del Universo]).

### THE ESOTERIC SIGNIFICANCE

### THE COMPLETION OF THE WORK

And here ends the second dialogue of the DIALOGUES OF THE NINTH SPHERE, written for the solace of the reader and glory of the G.A.D.U. ([translate:Gran Arquitecto del Universo]).

### THE ESOTERIC SIGNIFICANCE

This profound vision reveals the complete process of mystical initiation through symbolic representation. The experience described is not mere fantasy but a careful documentation of the stages through which consciousness passes during authentic spiritual awakening.

**The Seven Spheres** represent the complete chakric system of subtle anatomy, corresponding to the seven centers of consciousness through which spiritual energy must flow for complete activation.

**The Triangle of Light** represents the synthesis of the three primary forces—Will (blue), Wisdom (red), and Activity (yellow)—that, when properly balanced, form the foundation for all spiritual work.

**The Kabbalistic Cross** (Per Intro - AUM, Malkuth - Amen, Gedulah - Geburah) establishes the sacred geometry within the initiate's consciousness, creating the proper orientation for receiving higher influences.

**The Column of Light** represents the establishment of the central channel (sushumna) through which spiritual fire can safely ascend without destroying the personality vehicle.

**The Rod of Three Knots** symbolizes the threefold authority granted to one who has successfully completed the fundamental preparation—authority over the physical, astral, and mental planes of existence.

**KETHER** represents the Crown, the highest sephirotic principle that can be contacted while maintaining individual consciousness, the direct link to the Divine Source.

**The Rose** symbolizes the flowering of spiritual consciousness, the awakening of the heart center that allows divine love to manifest through human personality.

This dialogue serves both as instruction for those approaching such experiences and as validation for those who have already passed through these profound transformations of consciousness.

Rather than mere intellectual study, the journal emphasized the "living reality of symbolism" - the direct experiential knowledge that comes from identifying consciousness with symbolic principles.
