In 1914, shortly before the world storm that was to become a hecatomb, one of the **Oriental Masters** with whom Cedaior had been in contact in various "astral projections" in previous epochs (especially 1895-1900) and whom he had seen materialized in more than one meeting of certain very reserved mystical groups in Paris, one of these Masters, we say, "appears" to Cedaior and declares that **"the moment has arrived"** to fulfill a mission that he—Cedaior—had accepted once in a certain meeting of the **Great Frat∴B∴**, to which he had been spiritually taken.
The Master adds: **"The war will come, they will call you, but you will not go."**
Cedaior, withdrawn, as I said, from the superior activities of initiation, finds strange this return "not provoked by him" of contact with the Great Masters and waits for visible events of the concrete world to come to confirm the Master's words.
Indeed, the French mobilization arises, Cedaior is called and presents himself to the Buenos Aires Consulate, where, to his surprise, they declare him **"unfit"** for all service, by virtue of a remaining defect in one knee, as a consequence of a fall that occurred one or two years before in the countryside.
**Master Vayusattva** manifests again and Cedaior bows reverently, declaring himself **"ready"** to execute whatever is indicated **"at any price."**

As is natural, the spirit of Cedaior, in close union with his Guru, finds itself increasingly removed from mundane activity, and **four long years of absolute chastity**, an increasingly accentuated disinterest in profane and professional activity, unbalance (if one wants to call it thus) the material and family situation of Cedaior who is increasingly powerfully "carried" to break every tie to surrender to the freely accepted path.

He tries to spread in the environments in which he is initiatically related, the revelations that he has obtained, and except for few persons, his action does not interest societies except under the cultural aspect, which interests Cedaior almost more, because what he seeks is the realization of an initial nucleus of beings who prepare themselves for the new life.

Cedaior makes a trip to the south of Argentina (Chubut, Neuquén and even Chile) to study several things simultaneously:

In what refers to **results**, without divulging—what is not possible—the **special character** of such practices, it can be said that all persons who have followed said exercises, despite the natural diversity of **sexes**, **temperaments**, **races**, **ages**, **marital status**, etc., have had **common results**, both good and inconveniences, and that, in general manner, it is convenient to indicate some observations that the reading of the **"diaries"** of practices that they have sent me, suggest:

In exchange, persons who have tried to **do things as they had been indicated** to them that they should do them, have arrived at results that they did not imagine **achieving so rapidly**, including in said results, **visions**, **perceptions**, etc., in addition to the fundamental ones referring to **knowledge of individuality**.

This **Sacred Festival**, which as much in the **Suddha Dharma** as in other **Fraternities of the Orient** is the **greatest of the year**, has been reverenced by the students of the Suddha.
At the hour that corresponded, in each place, to **21 hrs. 12' (Greenwich)** of day **19 of May**, was being realized in **India**, the **Great Annual Sacrifice**, mystic ceremony in which the **Mahatmas**, under the influence of the **Mother (Y.D.)** tried to spread over the world, the **best orientation and illumination** for the **12 months of the new year**, according to the **Suddha computation**.
In **Argentina**, **Brazil**, **Chile** and **Uruguay**, the **Suddhists** tried to unite in **thought** and in **spirit** to the **Mystic Celebration**, to offer what of best there was in them and try to receive **Orientation and Light** for **Service during the new year**.
In places where the number and convenience permitted it, the **local ceremony** was realized according to the **special Ceremonial** of **floral offerings** and **recitation of sacred verses**, stipulated by the **Venerable Master Subrahmaniem**, following long **receptive meditation** in which various **Suddhists** had the possibility of capturing something of what in the **Great Ceremonial of the Orient** was being realized.

But not only can I represent the enumerated objects, I can also represent a **pain**, whether physical or moral, the **acid taste of a lemon** or the **sweet aroma of violets**. In all these cases I say that I have **consciousness of the phenomena** that occur in my being, by virtue of which I acquire **knowledge of my existence** at the same time as that of my **personality**.

This difference, although little used in our days, is fully justified by **direct experience**. The **images**, **emotions**, **perceptions**, **ideas** and, in general, all those phenomena that can be classified as **psychological**, are contained in what is known by the name of **Field of Consciousness**. The idea is very graphic, but has the inconvenience of creating in the mind of the curious, a **bidimensional image** of something that, necessarily, **cannot be inscribed in any known coordinate system**. But given that every truth possesses its opposite (which is equally true, when the position of the judge is changed or inverted) it is evident that the image has the virtue of serving as **reference to the concept**.

The **sum of representations** sustained by the **"field"** is called **contents of consciousness**; this expression is consequence of that contained in the paragraph above. The **value of this sum** is **variable for each instant** of vigilic activity, **different for each subject** and **proportional to aperceptive and discriminative capacity**. The **laboratories of experimental psychology** have spent true fortunes to establish a **promedial index**, capable of enclosing in a **general law** the quantity of **images** on which the attention of a given subject can focus. Which was to be expected because it is thus impossible to find **two subjects** who can fill a **"test"** in the same way, in the same time and with **identical qualitative numerical value**.

A **device or lever** has closed the **battery circuit**; an **electric current** is established, which acting on the **"bendix"** provokes the **coupling of the pinion** with the **flywheel gear**; the **suction of the pistons** determines the passage of **fuel** through the **low velocity nozzle**; the **fuel**, finely pulverized, passes through the **intake manifold** and lodges in the **combustion chambers**; the **distributor** launches a current to the **coil**, from which it emerges transformed to a **very high voltage**; this current feeds the **spark plugs** and provokes a **spark** between the **base electrodes**; the **spark ignites** the **explosive mixture**; the **gas expansion** provokes the **piston retreat**, which, through the **connecting rods**, transform the **alternating movement into rotatory**. The **motor** is now **"running."**
