STEP 8: Violet-Black Sun-Mist

The Paradox:

Simultaneously violet and black. Both sun and mist. Light and darkness unified.

The Experience:

Dark luminosity. Bright darkness. Coincidentia oppositorum—union of opposites.

What It Means:

Transcendence of all dualities. Neither light nor dark. Neither something nor nothing. The ground of being.

Correspondence:

• Tantric: Kali—dark goddess as source
• Alchemical: Sol Niger (black sun of transformation)

The Teaching:

Ultimate reality transcends conventional categories. Not light (which implies darkness). Not darkness (which implies light). Not both. Not neither.

This is that which underlies all such distinctions.

Terrifying for unprepared consciousness. The dissolution of all reference points. Ego death territory.

The Return:

From formless void, form recrystallizes. But now at cosmic level.

The Experience:

Luminous lapis lazuli—deep blue of infinite sky. Golden flecks like stars in cosmic space.

Celestial consciousness stabilized. Macrocosm internalized. Infinite space made concrete.
